thanks so much for your comment and honest opinion, yes, much appreciated.
Just as a try to make the make-up a bit clearer to you; I have two older works of that series,maybe you should look them up to understand it better Yes, this might have been good in natural, too, but that's not what it was about, nor about beauty (more beautiful without makeup). I agree it might be more serene without the make-up, but the point is exactely that. The mask. The hiding. Maybe you should read some of the other comments, some explained it differently. Just letting you know of my intention. Hope you don't feel like I want to change your opinion, I just want to help you understand what I had in mind, which is not more or less right or wrong than what you say. Ah, you know what I mean. Just sharing my own iterpretation, which goes beyond " beautiful" or "not beautiful" but relates to the context I see in it
